Green energy refers to energy use that is not only more efficient than fossil fuels, but that is friendly to the environment. Green energy is generally defined as energy sources that dont pollute and are renewable.
There are several categories of green energy (GE). They are anaerobic digestion, wind power, geothermal, small scale hydro, energy from biomass, solar and wave energy. Waste incineration can also be a source of green energy.
Nuclear power plants claim that green energy production, as well, although this source is full of controversy, as we all know. While nuclear energy may be sustainable, it can be renewable and does not pollute the atmosphere, while energy production, waste does not pollute the biosphere as it is released.
The transport, mining and phases before and after production of nuclear energy and release carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases like destructive. When we read of green energy, so you rarely see nuclear power included.
Those who support nuclear energy say that nuclear waste is not in fact published in our land biosphere during its normal production cycle. Top 5 Green Energy Companies From 2008

Thousands of organizations and companies make an extra effort and expense of extra dollars for the purchase of utility-scale energy from renewable resources. Both the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), compiles a quarterly list of the first companies of its green power Green Power Partnership program which was launched in July 2008.

Some companies move to a tiny green landscape, but these companies are demonstrating their loyalty to a greener environment "voluntarily spend millions of dollars in clean energy.

Other organizations senior positions at EPA 's list include Starbucks, Johnson & Johnson and the University of Pennsylvania.
